We received an update from the Ridenox Council that the mountain bike trail will now be closed for the season. The "trail closed" signs are up and will remain in place until the trail is re-opened in the spring, weather dependent.
As the main volunteer workers and stewards of the trail, Ridenox thanks all riders in advance for respecting the trail closure. Even one person riding in wet, soft, or freeze/thaw conditions can severely damage or impact the trail with erosion damage, runoff, puddling, and trail widening issues. All of the work to repair and fix the trails can take hours to complete. These repairs are made by unpaid volunteers who work extremely hard to keep the trails in excellent shape for everyone to enjoy. Please keep this in mind when you see the closure signs and notices and thank you for your compliance. Check back in the spring for re-opening notices.
