I am planning to start a NICA affiliated team in Northwestern Lehigh County. I am in the beginning stages of the planning, but it looks like it will be a community based team which means that there will be no specific school district affiliation. However, my plan is to use Northwestern's colors and some form of the mascot (tiger) for the team. My hope is that the team will consist of mostly Northwestern students by the time my girls join the team. They are 8 now.
Is there anyone who has interest in participating in this project with me? Obviously, it makes sense for you to be in Northwestern Lehigh county, but I don't consider that a requirement.
I know there are others out there starting teams in other parts of the valley. Those of you that are working on it, would you have interest in meeting up to share ideas, etc.?
