So long Norco it was fun while it lasted.

My Norco Six bit the dust saterday night on Eagle at Raystown. Nothing glorious just a stupid rock kicking up, it was like a chain reaction. Rock got kicked into my derailuer by the front tire, derailuer hooked rear wheel spokes and jammed the entire back end. Derailuer tab never broke but the frame did. Both holes are cracked out for the derailuer mount. Besides for the frame the rear derailuer, cable, a few spokes and trueing should have it covered. Crappy way to be put into retirement but after 5 years of abuse I guess its time. Once its torn down it will be going to a friend to see about being TIG'ed and remachined so it can be used in a pinch.

Theres a new Banshee Rune shipping from Tridents BC warehouse tomorrow to replace the Norco. I was set on the blue and it took 3 days to find one. Hopefully I'll be crushing pedal's again in 2 weeks

It ended on a good note though, roughly 20 miles at Raystown the day it broke. Glad I went to Mike and Jay's clinic's! I pumped every roller, berm and root I could and it made it much more enjoyable
