Fox TALAS acting up - user error??

Since this is my favorite place to get help on the internet, here goes.

I've got an '09 TALAS that has started acting up. it get's "stuck" in the middle of the stroke - it will continue to compress but only returns to about the middle. It's almost as if the travel was dialed down or the rebound isn't working and the fork is packing up. Once I stop riding, the fork very slowly (over about 5 seconds) will return to its full extension. It's an on/off again thing and once the fork returns to its full length, it behaves normally (quick rebound, etc) but re-occurs again later in the ride. It first started this winter and I thought it was related to the cold temp (low on air pressure or something) but now it's happening more and more.

I've checked the obvious things such as rebound (it's set at about 5 clicks from the fastest) and air pressure - (70 psi for a 160lb rider). I've cycled through the travel adjustment but the problem keeps coming back.

Has anyone else experience anything similar - is there something i'm doing (not doing regular service, not riding enough.... :O )

If it's not me, anyone have anything good or bad to say about PUSH or does it need to go back to Fox. Right now I've installed an old Pike 454 so at least I can ride.
