"I got a complaint from a Twp Supervisor who’s family was up on Sth Mt on Sat (midday) about 5 MTB riders streaking down the blue trail and almost hitting the family. I know there’s not much to be done at this point but could word be posted on VMB’s website and just pass the word around that riders need to be careful and conscious of the fact that they share the trails. I defused the situation and offered that the MTB fraternity is critical to our management and maintenance of the Preserve and that we aren’t going to restrict the use up there or modify the management (as they were suggesting) but that I would pass the word along."
